Mystery of the Shirt Tumble

As a man, my method of ironing is very simple; we throw the item of clothes in the dryer, turn it on high for five minutes and Vwalla ironing done, bachelor ready to hit the road.

Well for those of you that choy ose this amazing technique that we will never share with our female counterparts, there is a phenomenon that happens every single time that no scientist to this day can explain.

If you have more than one item in the dryer, the one you put in regardless of size and weight will always end up on the bottom at the moment the cycle.

Why
Why does this happen.
Why do we have to dig down to get that one piece of clothing every time.

I don't know
I don't know
I want to know
Help.

Minor panic attack.

I'm ok now.

The mystery continues.....

The Times They aret a Changin

I wish I can say the post will be as profound as a Dylan song but behold I cannot promise that but I can promise this: The words you are about to read will keep you as engaged as an episode of "Are you smarter than a fifth grader".

Before I go on I want to remind my listener that there are early production talks about a Fraggle Rock movie yet no discussion of a Smurfs movie or Breakfast Club remake.... How Hollywood has lost its edge but we are to expect at least three more Harry Potter movies and seven more Rocky movies.

I am beta testing the new Firefox 3.0. I feel honored that this has been bestowed. That my opinions and feedback will shape the official corporate lauch of this search engine. I takes me back to the last time I was a beta tester.....(fade back in time music).....

I was ten and tested cereal.
Two plane brown boxes showed up at our doorstep. One with a sugary crunchy morning snack and the other a rich chocolatey box of yumminess.

My answers...Yes my answers determined if General Mills, Kelloggs, Special K or what ever brand would market these cereals.

Do you realize the magnitude of responsibility I had at age ten. I makes you wonder how that one chance meeting with beta testing has shaped my entire life.

Does an Anniversery End After Life Passes

June 4 - Happy Anniversery to my parents. Forty-nine years ago in 1960, my parents at the urging of their own wed in holy matrimony. Though from a physical point of view they are no longer together, from a spiritual point of view the marriage does not seize. I know there are five thousand arguements for and against that last statement....

Bring it on...

Anyway, I think it is a time to remember even if there is no party, or glam or celebration in the formal sense of the word.

To my loving Mom and Dad, Happy 49th Anniversary.

Love ya,

Mark

He is Just Not Into You

I own a blackberry
I drink coffee from a french press
I use body wash
I live in the city
I will smoke an occasional cigar
I eat a healthy breakfast
I drank a key lime martini last night...I admit it. It was Martini night at Tsunami. Go ahead judge. I'm ok with that.

That being said, why would I title my blog entry "He is Just Not Into You"

I fulfilled one of my two New Year's Resolutions last night. I rented a movie from a Red Box. It was 1 AM and I rented "He is Just Not Into You" I wanted to see it. I saw it and once I return it I have come full circle.

I know you are wondering what my other resolution is and for my one subscriber you will have to wait. It is a secret soon to be revealed.

It was a book prior to becoming a movie and featured on Oprah. Two things a good upstanding male should never know.

It was cute and profound and insightful on the true issues facing modern dating.

It's hard, but it sure is fun

Did You Dance Today?

Dance everyday!

Dance in your bedroom
Dance at a club
Dance on the beach
Dance in the street
Dance in a fountain

But no matter what take a few minutes out of everyday and dance

Dance alone
Dance with a stranger
Dance with a loved one
Dance with a child

Let yourself be free and experience the wind in your face and you completely let your body loose to express itself in only a way it knows how.

Every day we sit in an office, drive our car, sit in restaurants or on the couch. We are restricted by societies roles of necessity and popularity.
Dance is the freedom of the mind. It yearns for mental and physical exercise.

Let it be...Be wild...be crazy but most importantly be YOU!

Go out and dance.
